Interestingly, the S22 device promised to receive four major Android updates. Since they were released with Android 12, this update would be the biggest major update unless Samsung changed. But most will not.
The S22 product line will still be a security patch for a while, but it is a model that started in 2022. Thankfully, Samsung has an expanded support window, so if you buy a new flagship, I have been covered with major Android updates for 7 years..
